is still in an early stage. In electronic retailing the internet is used as a platform by the
retailer to communicate with the customer and offer products and services on sale. In
India, ebay, Bazee.com, Times internet, Rediff etc. are some of the examples of etailing.
However now-a-days large chain retailers are having their own websites like
bigbazar.com, mywestside.com website etc. to enhance their sales by electronic retailing.
